Director John Cutrone

John Cutrone, Charlie Chaplin in Modern Times, 1936

John Cutrone comes to JCBA as a letterpress printer, bookbinder, and papermaker. He is also a writer and a partner in Convivio Bookworks, a Lake Worth book arts shop and studio that also offers artisan goods and specialty foods from around the world. He is the author of the Convivio Book of Days, a literary lifestyle blog encouraging us to live the ceremony of each day, and the North American Editor of Parenthesis, the Journal of the Fine Press Book Association. He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and of the MFA in the Book Arts Program at the University of Alabama. His go-to comfort book? The Sketchbook of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent. by Washington Irving.

Jonathan Rockford

Jonathan Rockford, Babe Ruth in Speedy, 1928

Jonathan joined Jaffe Center for Book Arts with a background in craft, visual arts, and the humanities. He has an MFA in Fiber and Material Studies from SAIC, an MA in Liberal Studies from UMiami, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Florida Atlantic – where he encountered one of his most recent favorite reads, The Book of Delights, by Ross Gay. As a visual artist, Jonathan has exhibited artwork from Los Angeles to Monaco and has collaborated on separate institutional commissions with a physicist and a software engineer.
